Vanessa Selbs is the best female poker player in the world today. She won two WSOP bracelets, the North American Poker Tour and the Partouche Poker Tour, winning a whopping 1.8 million dollars. She also ended up in the finals of two World Poker Tours, each worth over $500.000. Back in 2010 she won 2.4 million dollars from the Pokerstars Paradise Island tournament and the Partouch tournament held in Cannes. Her current income from poker sits at over 9.5 million dollars, making her a true poker icon.
Female poker players – Kathy Liebert
Kathy Liebert has been attending the World Series of Poker tournaments regularly for the past two decades. She had her first game back in 1997 and since then her skilled improved exponentially, in 2002 winning her first million with Party Poker Million. Other notable mentions include the 2009 WPT held in San Jose and the 2005 WPT held in Atlantic City, both earning her half a million dollars each. Annie Duke is the first woman to win the NBC National Headsup Poker Championship, gaining half a million dollars in the process. Annette first became known as a professional poker player back in 2007 when she won the World Series of Poker Europe, winning the prize money of 2 million dollars. The Norwegian started playing online poker and quickly developed the skills to defeat any opponent on the felt table. She went on to finish in the top 100 at the World Series of Poker Main Event held in Las Vegas, gaining a total net worth of 4 million dollars.
